1. Who is responsible for your information
Crab Royale is operated by Wyonna Keontay Heard, an individual doing business as Crab Royale as a U.S. sole proprietor. References to we, us, and our mean this individual operating the store. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit crab-royale.com, place an order, contact us, or interact with our advertising.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and delivery details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and delivery address.
- Order and transaction details, including products, quantities, order totals, currency, payment status, refunds, and shipment information. Checkout payment providers process payment credentials; we receive the transaction information needed to administer your order.
- Support information, including messages, order details, and photographs or other evidence you choose to provide when reporting a problem.
- Device and online activity information, such as IP address, browser and device type, cookie and advertising identifiers, referral information, pages viewed, cart activity, checkout events, and purchases.
- Preferences and consent information, including cookie choices and marketing preferences.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through the store, and from Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment and delivery partners, and advertising services in connection with these activities. If information essential to process or deliver an order is not provided, we may be unable to complete that service.
Please do not send passwords, full card numbers, government identity documents, or unrelated sensitive information in support messages. If verification is necessary, we will request only proportionate information through an appropriate process.
3. How we use information
- Process payments and orders, arrange fulfillment and delivery, provide tracking, and administer cancellations, refunds, and other remedies.
- Answer questions and investigate complaints, including issues concerning product condition or delivery.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the store; prevent fraud and misuse.
- Measure store and advertising performance and support relevant advertising, subject to applicable choices and law.
- Send order confirmations, delivery updates, and other service messages. Where permitted and with consent when required, send marketing communications.
- Maintain necessary records, comply with legal obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Who receives information
We disclose relevant information to Shopify for hosting, checkout, and store services; payment providers for payments and fraud checks; suppliers, fulfillment providers, carriers, and tracking providers for delivery; and support and technology providers for operating the store and resolving requests.
We also disclose information to Meta for advertising measurement and advertising, as explained below. Professional advisers, authorities, or parties to a business transfer may receive information when necessary and legally permitted. We limit disclosures to the purposes involved and remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.
Service providers may also process information for their own purposes where their role, notices, and applicable law permit it. Their notices do not replace this policy for information we control.
5. Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information about visits, orders, and interactions to provide its services. Where Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may use information from interactions with this store, other merchants, and Shopify to provide enhanced services such as analytics, personalization, security, and advertising, subject to applicable choices and law.
Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers and access Shopify's privacy controls at https://privacy.shopify.com/en. Requests concerning information we control can be sent to support@crab-royale.com.
6. Cookies and Meta Pixel
We use cookies and similar technologies. Necessary technologies support the cart, checkout, security, and privacy preferences. Optional technologies support analytics, advertising measurement, and personalized advertising.
We use the Meta Pixel. It can transmit device and browser information, IP addresses, online identifiers, pages and products viewed, cart and checkout activity, and purchase events such as order value and currency. Meta may connect these events with information it already holds to measure advertisements and support advertising on its services.
If enhanced matching or server-side data sharing is enabled in our Meta integration, contact details such as email address or phone number and additional transaction data may also be shared for matching and measurement, subject to applicable choices and law. The precise information depends on the integration settings. Meta describes its practices at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
Shopify's cookie banner is configured for visitors to this store. Use the banner and available privacy controls to manage optional cookies. Contact us if you need help changing or withdrawing a choice. Where consent is required, optional tracking is subject to that consent; simply visiting the store is not consent to all processing.
You can also manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through Meta. Blocking necessary cookies may affect store functions. You may need to repeat choices on another device or browser or after deleting cookies. A browser ad blocker alone may not prevent server-side disclosures.
7. Advertising opt-outs and marketing choices
Advertising disclosures may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some U.S. privacy laws even when no money is paid for the information. Where those laws apply, you can request an opt-out through the available store privacy controls or by emailing support@crab-royale.com. We honor legally required opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable. A general Do Not Track setting is different from a legally recognized opt-out signal.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in a message or by contacting us. This does not stop necessary messages about an existing order or a request you made.
8. International processing
The store is operated by a U.S. sole proprietor. Information may be processed in the United States, Australia, and other countries where Shopify, Meta, fulfillment partners, or other providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your country. Contact us for information about the recipients relevant to your order and their processing locations.
Where applicable law requires safeguards or other conditions for an international disclosure, we are responsible for meeting those requirements. Using the store does not waive your statutory protections or constitute blanket consent to international transfers.
9. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, considering order administration, accounting obligations, disputes, fraud prevention, and applicable legal periods. Retention periods differ by category and purpose. Information required for legal obligations or claims may be retained after a deletion request.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Contact us if you believe information connected to the store has been compromised.
10. Requests and complaints
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to our business, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain processing. These rights may be subject to lawful exceptions.
Email support@crab-royale.com to make a request or complaint. We may request proportionate verification of your identity or a representative's authority. We will respond within applicable legal time limits, explain any lawful refusal, and provide an appeal method where required. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If the Australian Privacy Act applies to your complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints. Other applicable laws may provide access to another regulator.
11. Children and updates
Our store is intended for a general adult shopping audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can assess and address the situation under applicable law.
We may update this policy when practices or laws change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required; a policy update does not itself authorize a new use of information.
